Review: How I Use Football Trading Genie As A Lay The Draw Trader

There is lots of hype about the Football Trading Genie at the moment and so we got one of our members Aaron over to give us a full review of this interesting new football trading tool.

Can it work for Lay The Draw traders? Read on…

football trading genie review

I’ve been Lay The Draw trading for a good while now.

Not here to tell you I’m a guru, or one of these guys turning £10 into a mansion overnight but I’ve had my good runs and it is the main strategy that works for me long term.

But let’s be real, finding the right LTD trades is a job in itself.

You’ve got to run through the fixture list, check recent form, market prices, goal stats, likely lineups… and then repeat that five, six, ten times over. It’s not a quick job if you do it properly.

Even after that, you still have to monitor the xG and other stats.

Anyway, Football Trading Genie has become a bit of a game-changer for me.

It Took Me from 2 Hours a Day… to 20-25 Minutes Flat

These days, my typical routine is simple.

I get back from work and sit down around 5pm, open up Genie, and start lining up my evening LTD trades. There is also mobile access to Genie and I often use that on the commute but it can fail if I lose signal which can be annoying.

Anyway, I go through the matches, pick out the ones Genie recommends as Lay The Draw (classic), and maybe 1–2 where he suggests something a bit different — like a Half-Time LTD or an Insurance setup.

All in, I’m done in about 20 minutes. And I am being generous, it is probably closer to 10 minutes.

That used to be a 2-hour job, minimum. And even then I’d second-guess some of the picks because I’d rushed it.

Now? Genie lays it all out. Clean. Clear. Quick.

Not Just Classic LTD — Variants Too

What I like is that it’s not just standard Lay The Draw.

Some matches, the Genie will suggest a Half-Time LTD which suits some match types better, especially when you’re not sure about the early goal threat.

Other times, it’ll suggest Insurance Lay The Draw, where you’re covering 0-0 and 1-1, all stuff covered in the course that we know so it is a good combination.

Genie explains why too not just “do this.” or randomly just putting up a fixture then saying “lay the draw on this”.

You can see the logic behind the suggestion, and for someone who trades every day, that makes a big difference.

Other Strategies?

So a word about the other strategies included in the football trading genie.

Firstly, you get 2 alternative prompts which are correct score trading and football trading plan.

I didn’t use these much but I did have a look and seemed like it would be very time saving for a correct score trader as it instantly picks out the scores for you, with good reasoning.

Then when using the typical prompt, it gives you wide variety of different strategies, not just LTD.

If you are a goal market trader it has lots on offer but I didn’t dabble much with those as I know my lane in football trading.

Time Saver? 100%. But Could Be Even Better…

If there’s one thing I’d love to see in the football trading genie (and I’ve already sent this in to the dev team) it’s Daily Shortlists.

Like a quick “Top 3 LTD Trades Today” type list.

Sometimes I don’t want to scroll through 20 matches. Just show me the 3 strongest ones, and I’ll dig deeper myself if I need to. I’ve been told it’s on the roadmap. so fingers crossed.

I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but clicking a match, it takes around 30 seconds to generate and then it might not fit my strategy. Much faster than previous but still a bit frustrating.

But even without it, I’m easily saving hours every week. That’s time I get back to do other things or just trade with a clearer head.

Would I Recommend It for LTD Traders?

Absolutely. If you’re like me, doing this regularly, with your own systems and process, Genie is like a supercharged assistant that gets the job done faster and doesn’t get tired.

The strike-rate on the LTD picks is very high and I easily 80%+ of them.

And remember it doesn’t replace you. It supports you.

And if you’re new? Even better. You’ll learn loads just by seeing which matches get flagged and why. It’s like reverse-engineering solid trading logic without spending three years figuring it out the hard way.

Should you buy football trading genie?

You should have some realistic expectations with this.

Football Trading Genie won’t make you rich overnight. That’s not the point.

But if you’re running a Lay The Draw operation and you want to: Save hours of time, Get solid LTD picks, plus variants like HT-LTD and Insurance, Build a smooth, repeatable routine

Then it’s 100% worth getting.

It’s part of my daily flow now and I’d be annoyed to go back to doing it all manually again.
